Such an odd thing.
Especially when you know that some one is going to die… in a matter of moments.
Eminent death.
Nothing can be done.
You wait there… until the decision is made.

The pulsing beep stops.
Just one loud long blare of announcement… that the heart… well, no longer feeling… beating… living…
BEEP…______________________________
Until silence.
Another decisive switch is turned.
The time noted.
Heads hung low.
Silent tears of the unstoppable, unescapable moment.
Pause the reality.
Yes… it is the end…
